L'Alveare is a non-party, democratic, no-profit association of voluntary people: the
first aim is human being promotion.
L'Alveare works mainly inside the world of handicap,
taking care of introduction the people with other ability in the society, through the
organization of their free time.
L'Alveare was founded in 1981 and is still growing. Members of Alveare live and act in
the area between Como and Varese and cooperate with members of other local associations.
Every week end we spend time togheter playing, travelling, keep birthdays, and in August we spend
our holiday to the sea or in mountain.
We have also founded two co-operative societies join to us to give lodging to people who are in need.
ARCA88 and AGORA’ 97 : gives lodging to people physically and mentally disabled, to children with familiar
problem and to unmarried mother with different problems.
